Prices and Product Specifications
Prices shown in this catalogue are effective as of its printing date and appear solely as a guide and are subject to change. Staples Business Advantage reserves the right to adjust prices in response to market conditions inclusive of Canadian currency and industry wide cost fluctuations. Price sensitive products always have current pricing on your eway.ca account. Staples Business Advantage reserves the right to update prices and product specifications at any time without notice. Products may be discontinued without notice and we reserve the right to replace the product with comparable substitution of equal or greater value. We do our best to ensure accuracy, however errors may occur and we regret any inconvenience that errors may cause. Staples Business Advantage assumes no liability for damages resulting from the use of products. All prices quoted exclude applicable taxes and waste diversion rates and Levies. A Waste Diversion Rate could include Electronic Handling, Bottle Deposit, Environmental, Lighting, Small/Large Appliance, Battery Fee or other Recycling programs. These fees are collected and submitted to their waste diversion association. An inventory of the waste diversion programs by region are available on Environment Canada web site.

Ordering and Delivery
There are no delivery charges for catalogue products inclusive of Office, Facility and Computer supplies within our local delivery area for orders over $50. However, delivery charges will apply for deliveries outside these areas and select noncatalogue products. Our Fifty Green program has been introduced to support our environmental efforts to minimize the impact of small order handling. Orders less than $50 are subject to $5 Green order charge. Additional fees will apply for remote locations. Orders placed and approved by 4:00 pm will help ensure next business-day delivery of your items. Furniture Assembly, Delivery, and Installation
Additional charges will apply for furniture related services, such as assembly, freight,delivery, and installation. Charges for such services will depend on type/size of order, and/or geographic location. Areas must be cleared of existing furniture for assembly and/ or installation to commence, unless otherwise arranged with Staples Business Advantage. For contract furnishing and projects, delivery, freight, and installation are extra. Furniture products ordered from extended delivery programs and special orders are not returnable. Insulated/Fireproof Files and Safes
Due to the weight of such products, special handling, delivery, freight, and installation charges may apply. Unique charges may also apply if special resources and/or equipment are required to complete delivery and/or installation. Please contact your Account Manager for more details.

Medical Devices
Medical devices advertised in this catalogue may not be licensed in accordance with Canadian law at time of intended purchase. Please call for more details.

Food, Beverage, and First Aid Products
For health and safety reasons, we do not accept returns on these products, unless defective, or our error.

Janitorial And Sanitation Products
For health and safety reasons, these products can only be returned only if the packaging is unopened and unaltered. Open containers of hazardous products (defective or damaged) will not be returned. For safety of our drivers, spilt liquid, broken glass, or damaged hazardous materials will not be picked up. A credit or replacement will be issued.

Hazardous and Oversized Materials
Additional charges may be incurred for shipping and handling of products classified as hazardous or oversized materials. Partial cartons or opened containers of hazardous materials cannot be returned. It is your responsibility to ensure the products are used and disposed of in accordance with all applicable local, provincial, federal laws and environmental rules and regulations.

Personal Protective Equipment
While some uses and performance capabilities are described around our Personal Protective Equipment literature, under no circumstances should these Personal Protective Equipment products be used except by qualified, trained personnel, and not until any instructions, labels, or other literature provided by the manufacturer have been carefully read and understood and the precautions therein followed. Only the manufacturer's instructions contain the complete and detailed information concerning these products. (These products can include: Ear Protection, Eye Protection, Fall Protection, Footwear, Gloves, Hard Hats, Face Protection, and Safety Clothing).

Credit
Terms are Net 30 from the Date of Invoice. An invoice will be delivered with the shipped product. For other billing options please contact our accounts receivable at 1-877-272-2121 option 2 or email credit.inquiry@staples.com. A late payment charge will be applied at the rate of 2% per month on all overdue amounts, with an annual rate of 24%. The Confidential Credit Application form must be completed, and all information requested is required to open a credit account.

C.O.D. Orders
Customers who have not established an account must use a credit card when placing orders. Staples Business Advantage delivery drivers, for their personal safety, are not authorized to accept payment, and therefore C.O.D. orders are not accepted.

Return and Return Credit Policy
Staples Business Advantage strives for complete customer satisfaction. In the event that your purchase does not meet your expectations, a Return Authorization from our Customer Care Department is required.

Catalogue products with the exception of technology returned in re-sellable condition and in original manufacturer packaging will be processed at no charge to the customer, if the request is received within 30 days from the original date of shipment. Credit will only be issued when the item has been returned to us. Pick up charges may apply if outside our local delivery areas. After 30 days, but within a year of purchase, an authorization may be provided by Customer Care and a minimum 15% restocking charge may apply.

Unopened Catalogue technology products inclusive of ink and toner may be returned within 14 days of purchase.

Simply contact our Customer Care Department, stating your account and the invoice number that the products were purchased on and a Return Authorization number will be issued for an exchange of goods or a full credit against your account.

All credit claims for damaged products, sales errors and short shipments should be requested immediately after receiving and verifying your order and no later than 10 business days from invoice date. All requests for proof of delivery must be received within 60 days of the invoice date.

Non Catalogue and special order products are non-returnable and non-cancellable other than those that are defective and orders that have not been shipped may only be cancelled subject to approval.

Defective Products
All products are guaranteed against manufacturing defects and are covered by each manufacturer's guarantee. Defective products other than Technology can be exchanged within 60 days of receipt. Defective Technology products may be exchanged within 14 days of receipt. After 14 days, contact the manufacturer directly. Manufacturer's contact information can be found on page 708. In the unlikely event you receive defective Staples Brand product, you may return these products at any time for a full refund or replacement. Your satisfaction is 100% guaranteed. A Return Authorization Number is required and must be obtained from our Customer Care Department prior to returning a product.

Furniture Products Return Policy
Customized furniture or specially sourced furniture is non-returnable. Upon approval, "stocked" inventory products may be returned with the customer paying a restocking fee of up to 25% of the purchase price, exclusive of freight and delivery. The returned product(s) must be in new condition and returned in their original carton, where possible.
